The 2016-2017 National Service Personnel (NSP) from CalBank have hand over a GHS65, 000 Kindergarten facility to residents of Nsakina M/A 1 Basic School in the Ga West Municipality in the Greater Accra Region.
The facility has two classroom, an office for the head teacher, a serving area and a washroom. The gesture is an initiative of the management of CAL Bank to link the bank with that community. The Head of Human Resource of CalBank, Mr. Samuel Boafo, express appreciation to the NSP for the gesture. According to him, this year’s coincided with the 10th anniversary celebration the bank.
He indicated that the initiative, even though expensive, had positively affected and improve the lives of communities in deprived areas. He urged the school authorities, the District Education Service parents and staff of the school to regularly maintain the structure to make it stand the test of time. The K.G Coordinator in the GA West Area, Mrs. Grace Adu Twum, thanked the national service persons for choosing Nsakina as their prime target and providing the community with such a facility. She called on other institutions and corporate Ghana to identify similar areas in dire need of small projects so that they would feel being part of the society.
