CalBank Youth Banking
Kiddy Save
- Operated by parents/guardians (trustee)
- Account can be upgraded to Teens account when the beneficiary is 13 years
- Access to life insurance policy to protect savings (optional)
- One withdrawal every year
- Trustees can withdraw up to 20% of the total account balance
- Competitive and tiered interest is paid based on account balance
- Trustees can use savings in the account to apply for a loan to pay for the fees of the beneficiary
Teens Account
- The CalBank Teens Account is designed for young people aged 13–17 who want to learn how to save, spend wisely, and build healthy financial habits early. .
Student Account
- Unlimited transactions (no limit on number of transactions)
- No monthly charges (zero monthly service charge)
- Free sign-on to CalBank online services (CalNet Access)
- Debit card access
- Financial literacy clubs
All individuals age 18 years and above.
- Valid National ID – Ghana Card
- One (1) recent passport-size picture.
- Initial deposit (based on account) is either GHS100.00, USD50.00, EUR50.00, GBP50.00.
Additional Requirements for Non-Ghanaians Resident
- Residence Permit
- Access to E-statements, CalNet, CalBank Mobile Banking (CalBank App & *771#), E-Alerts and E-zwich.
- Easy access to funds via CalBank Payment Solutions; CalBank Mobile Banking (CalBank App & *771#), Online Banking, Agent Banking, POS and ATM services.
