- Maturity period and investment amount determines the payable interest rates.
- Maturity period of three (3), six (6) and twelve (12) months.
- Notice is needed for disinvestment before maturity.
- The investment can be used as security for a loan.
- Competitive and negotiable interests for funds above certain limits.

- Completion and submission of fixed deposit application form.
- The initial amount to start the investment is GH¢ 5,000.00.
